How much will you pay for your new website?

I have two simple options to choose from as far as pricing goes:

Option 1: Monthly cost @ $50 / mo.
Option 2: One-time cost, $1250

Both options are considerably lower than you will find elsewhere, and both result in the same awesome end result.

How can I offer such awesome work at such a low price?

Great question, and I’m glad you asked. The answer is because I eliminate the design component and the need for a graphics designer. A typical web design process looks like this:

Client meeting and speccing for project >> Graphic designer builds design for each page of the site >> Approved by client or sent back for changes >> Completed design >> Development team integrates design into HTML and CSS to be viewable on the web >> Behind the scenes programming of any custom systems >> Delivered to client for final approval.

What my design process looks like:

Phone call or meeting to discuss project and so I get a better understanding of your business >> Delivery of 5-10 premium WordPress themes and templates to choose from based on your business and website needs >> Decision on theme or template to move forward with >> I develop the website using the premium theme and integrate your brand and feel into the site. >> Delivered to client for final approval.

Not only does my design process eliminate the need for an additional staff member and cut costs significantly, it also streamlines the process so that you get your new website up and running extremely quickly.

Why did I choose to develop websites this way?

You are full of great questions today. This is a very common question I get from clients and soon-to-be clients that are potentially worried or simply curious about using a premium WordPress theme for their website. There are a number of reasons why I have chose this route.

Open source means lower costs and more options. The WordPress framework itself is open-source, which means it is free and open to the public to build upon and improve. This enables designers from everywhere to design amazing looking and professional themes that hook easily into this powerful content management system. It also allows developers from all over the world develop plugins and modules to extend the functionality (for example, an online store, or easily integrated photo gallery).

SEO friendly design and development. If you are not aware, I am a big SEO enthusiast, especially in the local business space. WordPress, and in turn the premium themes that are developed upon it are extremely efficient from a programming stand point and are excellent for both page loading speeds and delivering content quickly to your visitors and the search engines. This leads to higher rankings.

Professional design and conversions are what is most important. Can I promise you that your site will be the only website on the internet with this particular theme? No, I can’t. That said, you will likely be the only site with this design in your local market. Not only that, but your visitors and potential clients don’t care that there may be some other business in Australia that is using a similar design. What is important is that your website reflects the professional nature of your business and encourages your visitors and potential clients who land on your site to take action (call you, submit a contact form, buy something, etc).

Lastly, because I’m able to handle everything myself to keep costs very low. This has its pros and cons for some. Rarely is a Halifax web design project completed by any company in the area with only one person working on it. The cost of multiple staff, designers, developers, project managers, etc. are built into the cost of your website. Now, if you are an empire-theatres-sized business that is looking to spend upwards of $20,000 – $50,000, I’m not your guy. But you aren’t. You are a local business looking to better compete in the online marketplace and I understand that. Let me help you keep your costs lower.
